Qingyuan Cooper Exchange was co-established by Guangdong Qingyuan Copper Company Limited, Qingyuan Jintian Company Limited and Qingyuan Shengli Copper Company Limited.

It is granted special fund by provincial government as a project of  "Modern Logistics" and "Modern Information Service". It is also one of Qingyuan’s key recyclable metal projects.

The Exchange's e-business website is provided with advanced logistics, storage and bank clearance system, offering recyclable cooper and other metal spot trading platform as well as related services for both clients in Qingyuan and from all over China.
